I am a versatile self-employed illustrator with over thirty years experience of working for UK and overseas clients in publishing, design, advertising, marketing and for television, in particular the BBC TV series ‘Origins of Us’.
Having grown up in the Hertfordshire countryside, my background stems from a great love and knowledge of natural history and wildlife. I am now based off the beaten track in the Cambrian Mountains, UK, another haven for wildlife spotting.
Many moons ago I was an airbrush and watercolour artist but most of my work now is painted in Photoshop. I also use Illustrator and some 3D packages as tools of the trade. I work in varying styles according to what is needed for each project, whether photorealistic, stylized, vector, 3D or traditional but specialise in accurate realistic illustration.
In a previous life I was awarded a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Scientific Illustration/Visual Communication Design and since then throughout my professional career my illustration work has also ventured into other areas and applications too.
I always look forward to working on new and interesting projects, so please get in touch. Let me help you visually bring your project to life!
